We Have

One Planet

Let's protect biodiversity

The world we inhabit is as far as we know, one of a kind. It is filled with all manner of life and wonder. Through millions of years of continuous evolution because of the process of natural selection, we exist in a world so rich in species. Each species adapted to survive in a unique way,  because of environmental factors.  Biodiversity is what makes our planet so beautiful, and this is in trouble. Climate change threatens specialised species, and without them the world would be a very dull place. We have the power to protect all the life around us. Lets use it

Welcome to my website, and thank you so much for visiting.

I have been an amateur wildlife photographer and filmmaker for many years with a main interest in arthropods and other invertebrates.

For me it isn't just about getting a great shot, as my love for the natural world is what drives me, so my main aim is to understand and learn more about the organisms I find and document.

I am a biologist in training and take detailed field notes of my finds and changes I notice throughout the year, from temperature changes to soil acidity around ant nests.

On this site you will find my photo gallery of the natural world, pages that are dedicated to specific organisms, along with many other pages of information and behind the scenes

This page will walk you through details of British spider species, all photographed by myself. I will talk of the  incredible differences between them and why they are such amazing creatures.
